About Us

able2achieve, established in 2010, provides both care and vocational support to adults with learning difficulties, mental health and other associated disabilities. Learners have the opportunity to develop skills in many areas, including:

Computer Skills

From logging on to surfing the net safely, learners are supported with constructive activities like on-line shopping.


Car Valeting

Learners can gain transferable,vocational skills through a range of tasks including booking in vehicles,washing vehicles to a professional standard, vacuuming, polishing andinvoicing.

Grounds Maintenance

Coombe farm has extensive estates, including woodlands and lakes. There are opportunities to develop skills in grounds maintenance, lake development and wildlife conservation..


Furniture and Renovation workshop

Developing real skills in a workshop with a range of different hand and powertools. Furniture restoration, recycling and up-cycling providing a service for the community.


Animal Care

Learners can learn animal careand husbandry, working with both farm animals and household pets. Learnerscurrently have the opportunity to work with pigs, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, atortoise and various fowl including chickens.


Office Skills

Learn admin skills; including photocopying, filing, shredding and IT, with opportunities to progress to reception duties.


Dance and Drama

Promotes confidence,social skills and social interaction, danceand drama is offered as just one of the areas of therapy.



Producing plants and organic vegetables on site in our well-equipped horticulture area, not only to keep our kitchen supplied with the freshest of ingredients, but with retail opportunities as well.



Our fun art sessions enable expression and increase communication. Specialist therapy is also available for art therapy.



Our accessible kitchen is available for our learners to learn basic food preparation, cooking for fun and general catering practice.  There is opportunity for work in a catering enterprise.


Life Skills

Our life skill support builds on an individual’s existing abilities and increase self-confidence. Skills include: accessing the community, daily living in the home, social interaction, road safety and money handling and many more.
