able2achieve ltd is a registered care provider developing essential skills and self-confidence for young adults with learning disabilities/difficulties and mental health through learning, living and working. We are currently recruiting to the following posts:

Learning Supporters 

Are you caring, enthusiastic and want to see people achieve their goals and aspirations? 

If so, then able2achieve wants you! 

Starting salary - £8.25 per hour

Care Certificate / Induction / Probation - £8.38 per hour 

NVQ 2 Health & Social Care or Equivalent - £8.63 per hour

NVQ 3 Health & Social Care or Equivalent – £9.02 per hour

Advance Practitioner Course - £9.15 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative individuals to provide a high standard of care and support on a day to day basis. Recognising and encouraging choice, dignity, privacy, self-worth, respect and community participation. You will work as part of a support team for the benefit of tenants in their own home.

The main tasks will be to support and enable people with a learning disability to take positive next steps towards their independence. Support them to reflect, evaluate and recognise their learning and experience of their actions and provide personal support, assistance, guidance, encouragement and inspiration.

For all posts, you must be age 18+ and be both literate and numerate. Experience of working with people with physical and learning disabilities is an advantage but not essential. You must have a caring and friendly nature, sense of humour, be approachable and non-judgemental and have an enthusiastic and positive approach. All posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
