"I started out as a learner in the Winking Frog cafe in 2016 where I learnt new skills such as serving customers, using the coffee machine and cooking. In 2019 I applied for a vacancy at the Winking Frog and gained paid employment in the cafe, where my confidence has grown massively. I love working in the Winking Frog with the learners. My favourite things to do in the Frog is greeting the customers, cooking the food and just making sure everyone is happy. I have developed lots of skills and gone from being a very shy person, to a more outgoing and confident person that's very happy."

Kerry has completed his L2 Health and Hygiene qualification and AQA accreditations in Till Operation and Payment Handling, Hygiene Around Food and Working in a Cafe: Introduction to Kitchen Portering. Kerry now has paid employment at The Belmont Hotel in Sidmouth, where he works as a KP. Kerry still attends the Silver Otter where he is now developing his skills towards his next aspiration of becoming a waiter."
