TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
We want our staff to explore their careers with us. You'll find all kinds of learning opportunities on offer. There'll always be a new challenge to take on, or something new to learn.
We provide a full induction and training programme when you join us. In addition to regular 1-2-1 supervisions and annual appraisals, we’ll help you develop and progress your career.
With a range of training opportunities you’ll be well supported with your professional and career development.
Within the first 12 weeks of working with us, we’ll support you to complete the Care Certificate, a requirement for everyone working in the social care sector.
Everyone who works for us is trained to meet mandatory and essential standards and you’ll find we train our employees beyond the minimum requirements. On your first week of employment, you’ll start your induction journey so whether you are just starting your career in care or have been in care for years you will have all the knowledge you need to start your role.
As well as basic training here at able2achieve we want you to progress further by offering you additional courses.
These courses will be specific to your job role and even specific to the learner you are working with. These course may be through online e-learning or face to face with external providers.
After the completion of your probation and becoming a permeant member of staff you will also have the opportunity to complete qualifications relevant to your role. This also gives you the opportunity to move further up the salary scale for your role.
DEVELOPMENT INTO SENIOR ROLES
We want our staff to grow and progress throughout the company. We offer the opportunity to apply for senior roles and will give you the support in order to gain the skills and experience needed.
